    Good morning Jen,

Thank you for reaching out. Do you know anything about the cost of those apps? The one we heard about appeared to have some good benefits, but also prompted some questions for us to consider— we would need a plan for handling noncompliance, and a cost-benefit check on (a) whether the cost of the app made sense for what we would get, and (b) if it would save more admin work than it would create. We wanted to get input from the building admin and secretary staff on it, too.

Dr Dean and Trustee Worden might have other details to add, too. Any info you have on alternatives would be helpful.

    Thank you,
    Dave

    Jen,

David Brooks, GPPSS parent and alum has showed Colleen Worden and David Brumbaugh an app that is used in Kent County. It is simple to use and records student temperature and symptoms. You might ask what they thought of the app.

    Thanks,
    GCN

Many districts in the state are using apps for students and staff to report their status each morning. Businesses are also using them; my husband is required to check in every morning and he has been working from home since March. If not an app, then perhaps GPPSS could consider an online form to track health data.

The rink where my daughter skates less than 2 hours at a time requires an online form to be completed before they are allowed into the facility. Considering the amount of time that MS and ES students are now spending in the buildings, will this be considered? I am very concerned that parents are not aware that they are supposed to do a health check each morning with their F2F students as this was not communicated well at all to returning 7th and 8th grade parents.
