    C’S BREADSTICKS

    NJHS will be selling Mr. C’s breadsticks in the lobby Wednesday, May 15thafter school.  Don’t forget to bring your dollar so that you don’t have to miss out!

    STAND

    We will see you at our party this Thursday, May 16th, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  We have moved the location to Ms. Porvin’s room (A52).

    GAME CLUB

    The next meeting of the Game Club will be Thursday, May 16thafter school in the cafeteria.  See you there Broncos!

    VARIETY SHOW

    It's time to dust off those tap shoes, pull that magic bag out of the closet and warm up those vocal chords...that's right it's time to show off YOUR talent, whatever that is, for the all-school end-of-the year Variety Show.  The show will be held the last day of school, but we need to see your talents on Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23 right after school in the MPR.  We need YOU to make the show great.  So, please let Ms. Bubeck or Ms. Lovelace know if you are interested in sharing your talent, and sign up on the posters in the front hallway or outside Ms. Lovelace's room (C-5A).  Remember, it takes YOU to make a great Variety Show!

    The Grosse Pointe Public Library is holding the following events:

    Tween & Teen Filmmaker (ages 11 and up, registration is open now)

    Shots & Compositions, Friday, May 17th, 4:00 p.m., Central Library

    Storyboarding, Saturday, May 25th, 2:00 p.m., Central Library

    Mini Film Challenge and Festival

    The library is putting out a call for submissions to the July 20th Mini Film Festival (for filmmakers age 11-18).  The festival is challenging students to make a short film (maximum 2 minutes) that includes two thematic elements:  1) a book and 2) an astronaut, alien or star. Film submissions will be accepted from June 1-22. All entrants accepted will be entered into a raffle prize drawing.Register at any of our public libraries.
