Welcome to my page! My name is Joe Evens and I am an occupational therapist for Grosse Pointe Public School Systems. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2012 and my Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2015, both earned at Wayne State University (Go Warriors!). I have experience working with children in a variety of settings; including hospitals, clinics, school systems, and homecare settings. The areas of OT that I enjoy the most and continue to research are sensory integration, primitive reflexes, school accommodation/adaptations, feeding strategies/techniques and handwriting. I am excited to part of this community and look forward to working with the great staff and students here at GPPSS!
