• Kristen Topper received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Michigan and her Master’s of Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University.  Prior to working in Grosse Pointe, she worked as an OT doing inpatient and acute care rehab for adults.  She has been working for the Grosse Pointe School District since 2004.  She has worked with students ages 0-26 across the district with various disabilities and challenges.  She has training in fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, and pre-vocational skills.  Currently, she works mostly with infants and toddlers (age 0-3), and school age children (grades K-5) with cognitive impairments or autism.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband, reading, sewing, and traveling.
