    Hi!  My name is Courtney Dykstra and I am very excited to be back and teaching second grade here at Trombly! This is my 12th year teaching in Grosse Pointe and my 11th Trombly.
     
    I grew up in Grosse Pointe and currently live here with my husband and two boys. In fact, both of our families have lived in Grosse Pointe for three (or more!) generations. I am fortuante to get to teach in my hometown and enjoy working with the wonderful families here.
     
    I gradutated from Hillsdale College with my degree in Early Childhood Education and then went on to Madonna University to get my Master's in Special Education with a specialty in Learning Disabilities.
