To be eligible, the student must:
1. Win a regional Gold Key for Art Portfolio in 2014 in the Southeastern Michigan Region
2. Submit a scholarship application (attached) and letter of recommendation from your art teacher by 3-1-14
3. Apply and be accepted to the College for Creative Studies by 3-1-14
Here’s how it works:
You must submit the attached application and a letter of recommendation from your art teacher by 3-1-14.
This award, generously donated by retired Art Educator Danna Bowersox and the Oakland County Potters Guild, is determined on a competitive basis. There is no need to submit additional work; your Gold Key Art Portfolio will be used for adjudication in this special competition. One 2D, one 3D and one Photography Portfolio will be selected. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to three high school seniors who won a regional Gold Key for Art Portfolio and have been admitted to the College for Creative Studies on or before March 1, 2014. This one time award will be applied toward tuition/fees once students are registered for classes for the fall of 2014. Winners will be notified by April 1, 2014.
